Summah-time

Rob has been traveling a ridiculous amount for work lately and when he told me their team had to take 80 depositions between June 7th (when he returned from a 2-week trip to Korea) and July 8th, we started making plans for me to spend the summer in Utah. I was lucky enough to find a rental in salt lake thanks to my awesome friend Kim. So we left two days after school got out and have been enjoying our time in the cooler weather and the company of family. Luckily Rob has been able to fly in here on the few days he hasn't been work traveling.

First taste

Genevieve getting her first real taste of watermelon. She loved it and cried every time I took it away long enough to pick out a seed.

She's six!

Happy birthday Ava!. Today you are six. We love so many things about you. We love how you smile with your two front teeth missing, We love your big heart that worries about others, We love your imagination and the big plans you come up with, We love your artistic talent, We love your curiosity and all the questions you ask, We love the way you wear your heart on your sleeve, and your excitement about life, We love how passionate you are about things - like saving bugs and not cutting down trees. Looking forward to another sweet six years. Hope they go slower than the first six.

Tooth

This little cutie cut her first tooth last week. It's not all the way up yet and she won't let me get a picture but its there.
