In the past few weeks Ava has really started talking a lot. Here is a funny video of her gabbing as she bounces away.

So Ava is 6 months old now and since she has been salivating at the sight of food since about three months, we've been giving her a taste of some solid foods. Likes: peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes. Hates: pears. Here are some funny pictures of her first few eating experiences....

Hectic Holidays

Well I guess the holidays got to me since I haven't been blogging since the beginning of November. I thought I'd get on and post a few Christmas pictures of Ava. We spent Thanksgiving with the Vincents where we had our Christmas celebration as well since we were spending Christmas in Idaho. My blood must have thinned since living in Texas because I found Idaho unbearably cold. I was sure the wind was going to pick me up and carry me away! Luckily we had purchased Ava a coat and hat despite the 70 degree weather we've had in Dallas. We had a good Christmas and were able to see most of my siblings, parents, and grandparents and took in a mean game of Guitar Hero with Brad and Tara!
